Would you like to learn how to free motion quilt using your domestic sewing machine? This class is for the Beginner to Intermediate quilter who wants to learn the basics or to expand on their quilting skills. I will share different design techniques to get you started. Such as feathers, crosshatching, pebbles and, more. Keeping the design smooth and making even stitches can sometimes be a difficult task but with practice and my guidance you will feel much better about your quilting. The big questions I get: *Where do I start? *How do I come up with a design? I have been quilting and teaching for many years and I want to make your quilting experience less stressful and more enjoyable. So let's get started!

Come and sit under the tutelage of Jen Kingwell as she leads an exciting and fun filled two day, hands-on workshop. Jen will guide you through the process of hand piecing using acrylic and plastic templates, demonstrate applique techniques, block placing, and quilt designing. You will learn her process of transforming orphan blocks into a quilt masterpiece. Select one or both two-day classes. ***NOTE*** NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN FOR THIS REGISTRATION; HOWEVER, A WATING LIST WILL BE AVAILABLE WHEN A CLASS MEETS THE REGISTRATION LIMIT.

Come "spin" the day with us and learn the easy technique of making the Vintage Spin quilt. The quilt is easily made by using our custom made die to cut out your fabric.

(Beginner's quilting class. This is a series of short classes that cover specific forms of piecing for the beginner.) Let's assemble your quilt top. Bring your blocks and we'll discuss the many options for setting your blocks together using different layouts, sashings, corner posts and borders. We'll also figure the yardage needed to do each of these steps.

(Beginner's quilting class. This is a series of short classes that cover specific forms of piecing for the beginner.) To compliment any quilt top, we'll demo most and discuss at least 7 different ways you can finish the raw edges of your quilt after quilting the layers together.

Join Lora as she walks you through the steps of making a pair of shoes, designed by you! All supplies included, except for your fabric choices and soft and stable. You will need to notify the quilt store as to the size and color choice of your base. Shoe Base - $60 (non-refundable). Select from White, Black, or Gum (tan).

Do you need designated time and space to work on your projects, sniff lint, fondle fabric and fellowship with other quilters? Bring your projects and treat yourself uninterrupted work time. The $5 registration fee will be applied to any purchases made that day. THE REGISTRATION FEE IS NON TRANSFERABLE AND NON REFUNDABLE.
